When managing patients’ healthcare needs, one needs to consider their values, belief systems, and mindsets to adjust health behaviors and decision-making. Similarly, peers and professionals may have different beliefs and mindsets hence addressing these are needed to collaborate effectively as a team to impact clinical practice.

Wayne State University Medical Students created White Coat Pocket Case Cards to highlight a specific conflict with each of three populations—administrators, patients, and peers—and provide a solution.
