About This Journal

Jewish Film & New Media is an international, peer-reviewed journal edited by Nathan Abrams (Bangor University, Wales) and Nir Cohen (Jewish Book Week, London). The journal engages in critical discussion of the representation of Jews, Jewishness, and Judaism in cinema, television, and new media, as well as the Jewish contribution to these media outlets, in a widely defined fashion.

Bringing together scholars in a variety of disciplines, Jewish Film & New Media provides a key resource for academic study and research, and it aims to widen the parameters of Jewish film and new media studies. The journal encompasses historical and cultural dimensions of Jewish film and new media alongside its identities, languages, styles, forms, and audiences.
