Author Biography
Pieter Vermeulen is a professor of American and Comparative Literature at the University of Leuven. He is the author of Romanticism after the Holocaust (2010), Contemporary Literature and the End of the Novel (2015) and Literature and the Anthropocene (2020), and a coeditor of, among others, Institutions of World Literature (2015) and special issues on “Contemporary Literature and/as Archive” (2020) and “Pluralizing the Minor” (2024). His current book project is on the grammar of literary value in twenty-first-century literature.
