Author Biography

Domale Dube, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Alberta. She is a transborder Black feminist scholar who works in the areas of Black women’s experiences of gender-based violence and organizing for racial and gender justice. She is the author of Ogoni Women’s Activism: The Transnational Struggle for Justice Against Big Oil and the State (2025), which was awarded the National Women’s Studies Association’s First Book Prize.
