Abstract
This article is an excerpt from Brian Kiernan's forthcoming bio-critical study of David Williamson. 'Travelling North,' the chapter from which it is taken, covers the Williamson family's experiences in Denmark, where he was a visiting professor for a semester, then moves on to their European travels just before the American opening of The Club.
