Author Biography

Ara Osterweil is an assistant professor of film at McGill University in Montreal. She recently finished a book on experimental cinema in the 1960s and 1970s: Flesh Cinema: The Corporeal Turn in American Avant-garde Film (Manchester University Press, 2014). She is also a painter.
