Max Jorge Hinderer Cruz is a São Paulo–based editor, writer, and cultural theorist specializing in materialist aesthetics, colonial history, and twentieth-century Brazilian avant-garde art. Currently he holds a position as visiting lecturer at the University of Zurich.
