Abstract
Rodney Hall published his first volume of poetry in 1962, thus beginning a prolific writing career. Since then he has published several more volumes of poetry and three novels, worked as poetry adviser to publishers, involved himself in the Aboriginal rights movement, and edited several collections of Australian poems. His most recent novel, Just Relations (1982), has brough t him international attention. This interview took place when Rodney Hall was a guest at the Australian literature section during the South Central Modern Language Association Conference in Biloxi, Mississippi.
