Abstract
Given faculty’s and academic staff’s frontline role, the purpose of this sequential mixed methods dissertation will be to understand the factors that impact the confidence of faculty and staff to notice, intervene, and refer those students who show signs of an emerging mental health concern at an urban research university. The implications from this study will show how provision of adequate resources provides the clear message that everyone can contribute to a healthy campus—even remotely.
