Abstract
This study tests the hypothesis that the students who learned calculus through a calculus course based on a traditional approach and a computer algebra system such as Wolfram Alpha would perform significantly better than those students who learned calculus only through the traditional chalkboard and paper-and-pencil approach of the lecture method without relying on any use of technology.
