Abstract
This three article five-chapter dissertation is focused on improving teaching and learning through teachers engaging in the Lesson Study professional development. The main goals of the study as a whole were to (1) investigate how teacher-talks during a Lesson Study influences teaching and learning, (2) determine how teacher reflections after a Lesson Study influence teaching and learning, and (3) investigate how a Lesson Study influences one teacher's classroom teaching practices after the experience.
The study is a qualitative approach throughout all three articles.
