Abstract

This article discusses a collaborative story-based project among three scholars. What would happen if scholars deliberately stepped into the role of storyteller and composed stories orally, in person, with their listeners present? How would that influence the ways they defined storytelling and experienced its potential? Useful insights, practices, and techniques that emerged from this project and this article are shared, while also emphasizing the individuality of the storytelling experiences encountered.
