Abstract
This special issue of Storytelling, Self, Society emerges from the “Storytelling for Health” conference that took place in Swansea, Wales, in the summer of 2017. In this introduction we will explore the context for the conference and describe some of the key debates that arose out of the conference. We will explore some of the impacts from the conference, which we collected in a modest piece of research afterward. We will also explore how the articles included in this volume continue to expand on some of these debates.
