Abstract
This interview is an edited transcript of a telephone conversation that took place on September 21, 2006, based in large part on Haven’s presentation at the Youth, Educators, and Stoiytellers Alliance pre-conference of the National Stoiytelling Conference in Pittsburgh, on the previous July 20. In the course of the conversation, Haven addresses the question, “Is there sufficient quantitative, research-based data, and analysis to prove that storytelling is an effective and efficient element of the classroom language arts curriculum?”
