Submission Guidelines for Discourse: Journal for Theoretical Studies in Media and Culture

Submissions should be prepared for anonymous review (i.e. without any reference to the author's identity). Discourse maintains a double-blind review process.

Unless otherwise approved by the General Editor or a Discourse editor, submissions should be under 10,000 words (including endnotes).

Contributions should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition (for convenience the most common style points are listed on our journal style sheet).

Following notice of acceptance, the author will be asked to incorporate recommendations for change in the final version to be submitted in a current version of Microsoft Word. Notes may be embedded in the text via automatic note generation.
