Submission Guidelines for Discourse: Journal for Theoretical Studies in Media and Culture
The editors of Discourse invite readers to submit essays addressing contemporary cultural studies, theories of media, and the politics of sexuality. Manuscripts should be uploaded through the Discourse Digital Commons website. Submissions should be prepared for anonymous review (i.e. without any reference to the author's identity). Discourse maintains a double-blind review process.
Contributions should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, 15th Edition (for convenience the most common style points are listed on our journal style sheet).
Following notice of acceptance, the author will be asked to incorporate recommendations for change in the final version to be submitted in a current version of Microsoft Word. Notes may be embedded in the text via automatic note generation.
